Milma’s Milk Challenge: A free sachet for buying three packets from city stalls

As part of its ‘Milk Challenge’, the Thiruvananthapuram Regional Union of Milma has announced an offer of a free 200 ml sachet of milk for consumers buying three sachets from its stalls in the city on May 22 (Saturday).

The offer can be availed by consumers buying milk from Milma’s stalls under the Thiruvananthapuram Dairy at Ambalathara, Pattom, Kowdiar, Poojappura and Thekkekotta, a release from Thiruvananthapuram Regional Co-operative Milk Producers Union (TRCMPU) said.

Milma has launched the Milk Challenge to help dairy farmers hit by the fall in milk procurement and sales due to the pandemic-induced lockdown, by urging people to consume more milk to boost their immunity and support the milk producers.

“Have a little more milk, save our dairy farmers” is the theme of the drive, with a call to buy at least half-a-litre more milk a day, which will save the dairy farmers from slipping into a deeper crisis.
