The Elamkulam Little Flower Church is poised to host an exciting and vibrant three-day sports extravaganza from January 26th to 28th, 2024. The event, meticulously organized by the LFC Badminton Club, Central Committee, Parish Council, Family Units, and KCYM, promises an engaging showcase of talent featuring the Elamkulam Little Flower Church Badminton Championship. Simultaneously, chess and carroms tournaments will add a layer of diversity to the festivities.
Inaugurating the event will be distinguished guests, including Vicar Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kalapurackal, Asst. Vicar Rev. Fr. Amal Periyappadan, Fr. Joby Palatti, and Mother Superior Sr. Santha Maria. Enhancing the prestige of the occasion are the committee members who will play crucial roles in ensuring the success and smooth execution of the tournaments. The committee comprises:
George Sebastian, serving as the Vice Chairman, will bring his leadership skills to the forefront. Adv Lijo Mathew, the General Secretary, will oversee the coordination and logistics of the event. Nicy George, Joint Secretary, will play a pivotal role in supporting the general secretary in their responsibilities. The Treasurer, Justin Sebastian, will manage the financial aspects of the tournament. The committee also includes two dedicated Trustees, Philip Sebastian and Chackochan AD, who will contribute their expertise and guidance to the successful conduct of the sports extravaganza.
The tournaments are exclusive to parish unit members, and matches will be conducted unit-wise, encompassing both singles and doubles categories for men and women alike.
